I came to marketing from an unlikely place– being a nurse in the pediatrics, community health, and OBGYN fields.

I sat with parents and families going through difficult moments. It was through this work that I realized something: in a rush to ‘fix’ people’s problems, we don’t take the time to listen and deeply understand what they’re dealing with.

The act of making someone feel seen IS the point, actually. It’s what’s going to stay in people’s memories far longer than jumping straight to educating or asking for the sale. This insight set me apart from fellow nurses, health technology consultants, and now marketers.

I’m different from other content managers or copywriters. I’m nonbinary, neurodivergent, and chronically ill. I understand that we’re not all working with the same access and capacity.

Because of that, my first and core aspect of my work is refining the language to describe your business that you can repeat for brand consistency and to save time so you’re never writing or pitching from scratch: elevator pitches, positioning statements, talking points, and evocative headlines are an aspect of every offer I have.
